Mary Winspear Community Cultural Centre

This beautiful new venue includes an art gallery, open lobby and several outdoor patios. Parking is not a problem in Sidney and there are a wonderul variety of shops and services nearby. There is a complete catering kitchen adjecent to the Bodine Family Hall. The Charlie White theatre has a green room, workshop and dressing rooms. It can either be proscenium or thrust style.

Royal & McPherson Theatres Society

The Royal & McPherson Theatres Society oversees the operation of the Capital Region's two premier performing arts venues: the Royal Theatre and the McPherson Playhouse.

Unity Church of Victoria Performance Venue

Offers a bright, modern auditorium and several smaller rooms. All are professionally maintained and suitable for presentations, musical events, etc. Other amenities in the building include a deli and a credit union with ATM machine. Rental rates are based on 4-hour time block plus one hour for setup/take-down.

Victoria Conservatory of Music

Two venues are available in this centrally located heritage building. Call today to arrange a tour. Other charges may be applicable in addition to those listed below, such as piano tuning. So please call us for a copy of the rate sheet.
ALIX GOOLDEN PERFORMANCE HALL - an attractive and intimate heritage space. It is suitable for concerts and some theatre.
Capacity: 440 (800 maximum)
Stage: 28' x 40' semi-circular thrust.
Rates: $400-$700 plus $0.50 per occupied seat.
Lighting: general stage wash
Sound: basic PSA system/50 amp service

GYMSPACE - yes, it's a gym and suitable for experimental theatre and rehearsals. Although risers for seating are available, you will need to bring in your own chairs, portable wings and lighting stands to use the Gymspace as a theatrical venue.
Rates: $45 per hour.
